Aram Khachaturian
One of the most prominent Armenian cultural figures of the XX century, composer, conductor, professor, public figure, People’s artist of the USSR, of Armenian SSR and a number of Republics of the USSR, member of the Academy of Sciences of Armenian SSR, honored member of number of foreign Academies of Arts, a member of Soviet Peace Committee, Philosophy Doctor in Art History, one of the heads of the Union of Soviet Composers, Professor at Gnesins’ Musical Institute and Moscow Conservatory, the laureate of the Lenin Prize, State Prizes of the USSR and Armenian SSR.

Yuri Grigorovich
A renowned Russian choreographer, founder (together with A. Khachaturian) of new interpretation of “Spartacus” ballet, professor of Choreography Department of Leningrad Conservatory, president of the Association of Choreography Workers, “Russian Ballet” fund president, art director of the choreographic troupe “Yuri Grigorovich Ballet” and art director of Krasnodar Ballet Theater.

Simon Virsaladze

An outstanding artist, honored art worker of Georgian SSR, People’s artist of RSFSR, Georgian SSR, USSR, associate of the Academy of Arts of the USSR, full member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR.

Karen Durgaryan

A famed Armenian conductor, honored artist of Armenia, the principal conductor of National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre after Al. Spendiaryan, guest conductor of Saint Petersburg Mikhailovski Theater, musical director of “Spartacus” and “Romeo and Juliette” ballet productions.
